Hunter's Blog #1, September

Hi, this is Hunter. This is my semi-blog that I share with my family. As you might know, I am an otaku [anime (Japanese animation) obsessed] so I might get a little carried away with some of that type of stuff. But right now I will just say this: I will talk about it. I'll try to do 3-5 blogs a month for my homies. Just kidding. On to the first post! Currently I am reading Death Note, a manga (Japanese comic books) about a high school kid who finds a notebook dropped by a Grim Reaper-esque character named Ryuk. Back to the notebook, the Death Note, can kill anybody by just writing their name inside of it. Pretty morbid, right? So the main character tries to rid the world of evil by killing all of the major criminals around the world. But get this, Interpol notices that the criminals are getting bumped off one by one, so they send the top detective in the world after the main character. The story turns into an intense game of cat and mouse! Oh, and did I mention that the Light (main dude w/ the notebook) is the #1 student in Japan?!?!? (Yes, that means he's smart.)
In other news, I will review "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" tommorow or somthing. Oh, wait, I'm going to Jackson Hole for a week with my class! You know what I'm talking about. It's going to be "da bomb!" See you in a week or so.
